Tomato Crostini

Crostini with Tomatoes

Pointer 1: Plum tomatoes or vine ripened tomatoes are good.


  • French bread
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil for spread
  • Crushed garlic
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • Mozzarella cheese


Toast bread with olive oil and crushed garlic in oven for 5 mins. Heat oven to 375 before placing the bread. Remove toasts and place on a platter. Spread the top with shredded cheese, tomatoes, black pepper. Sprinkle some salt if needed. Add a touch of dry herb and cilantro. Serve warm.
