Stuffed Mushrooms with garlic, cheese, bread crumbs


  • 1 pound large button mushrooms
  • 4 cloves diced garlic
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cups shredded goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsps. crushed black pepper
  • Olive oil to spread over the mushrooms

  • Method:

Wash, dry and remove stems from the mushrooms. Chop stems and set aside.

Take a pan, warm and add butter. Let it melt. Add chopped garlic and mushroom stems. Sauté until the water evaporates. Add salt and pepper and mix well.

Add bread crums to the mixture and fill mushrooms. Top the filling with the mix of goat cheese, cream cheese. Sprinkle olive oil over the mushrooms so they are well covered. 

Bake in 350 degree oven until the cheese melts and browns a little.
