Stir Fried Green Beans
Stir fried green beans with a punch of garlic flavor and fresh cracked peppercorns

Pointer: Fresh cut french beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans
  • 3 Tbsps. olive oil
  • 5 cloves fresh garlic, diced
  • 1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped, toasted almonds
  • 3/4 Tbsp. fresh cracked peppercorns
  • 4 tsps. lemon juice or lemon zest
  • salt to taste


Method:

Blanch green beans for 5 minutes in hot boiling water. Add 1/2 of salt to the boiling water. Remove beans, drain and spread them on a flat platter.

n a wide skillet, add olive oil. Sauté the garlic, throw in the almonds. Toast for 4 minutes, add the green beans and toss fhem a few times. Add chopped parsley while pan is on stove. Add the lemon juice or zest. Mix and remove from heat.

Finally add the cracked peppercorn. Serve warm as a side dish.
